This is located in Galt, CA north of Lodi on Highway 99. Probably a couple hundred vendors, many of them selling wholesale. Retail market on Tuesday and wholesale on Wednesday. A lot of things that you see people selling at shows in Northern California come from here.

I live in Galt and get some of my ribbon and tule there. I have been really disappointed with the quality and the amount of cheap crap that people are selling. You used to be able to get really good stuff now it there is hardly anything. I wonder if it is a sign of the times or the market is changing to more imports than anything else.

I was thinking of doing this on Tuesday one time this month. Anyone have any experience with this venue? My things are not cheap, but we do sell wholesale.

I was thinking of doing this on Tuesday one time this month. Anyone have any experience with this venue? My things are not cheap, but we do sell wholesale. Good luck. Bad time of the year to be selling at Galt. The shows are slow for virtually everybody and not a lot of people going there looking for new inventory. Weather starting to get bad. You can get spaces for one day only? I thought that you had to sign a yearly contract. However, I have seen a lot of empty spaces there each time I have gone this year. My friend's that sell there told me it was very slow this past Tuesday.

are you sure that you have to sign a yearly contract in galt, there are more than 35% vacant space there. i think i go to galt last year aug or sept ( i do not remember the exact month ), there are no more than 100 vendors there. in the flea market guide, they said there are 10000 visitors there. i wonder where they are. i was a small importer in los angeles area, so, i hang around the galt market the whole day, i do not see more than 1000 wholesale customers there. it may be a big wholesale market 3 - 4 years ago but defintely not now. i do not remember whether it is a tuesday or wednesday i go there. but i do see one of used to be los angeles wholesaler is currently selling wholesale baseball hats there. i am just curious, is there a lot of different on tuesday and wednesday on the vendors who sell there?

I haven't gone there yet this year. Tuesday is wholesale and Wednesday is retail. However, there are a lot of retailer's selling on Tues; maybe some wholesale on Wed. Don't know for sure. A lot of wholesaler's have stopped selling there and it's not as good as it used to be. I've noticed that a good number of my favorite seller's are no longer there and they now have a 'farmer's market' in the last rows. There were stories that the city was trying to get rid of wholesaler's because they do not collect sales tax from them. I'm not sure if this still holds true. I think that a lot of seller's got discouraged or just simply went out of business. Yes, the seller's do sign yearly contracts, but I am certain that you can go on a daily/weekly basis because there are quite a few empty spaces. We have people on this forum from Galt and I am hoping that they can pop in and give us an update.

I guys and gals! The company I work for has a huge inventory of tech products we no longer carry in our main catalog. They've tasked me with the job of moving out this inventory. Which got me thinking, hey! what about the flea market industry.
So if you're interested hit me up! I bet we can create a mutually beneficial relationship.
We have things like bluetooth speakers, mice, mp3 players all new in the box. And like I said, iv'e been told to "just get rid of it". Hope to hear from you!
