North Salinas High Booster Club Craft Show

The North Salinas High Booster Club cordially invites you to participate in our 2nd Annual Holiday Craft Show. This Craft Show is designed to be an event where local artists and vendors have a chance to offer a holiday shopping experience to the residents of Salinas and the surrounding communities.

All vendors are required to be present throughout the entire craft show. Vendors will need to supply their own tablecloths. Tablecloths will need to be large enough to hide any extra items under the tables (table size 30”x 8’). Two chairs will be provided per space.

There will be food available at our show we are proud to offer Papa Murphy’s Pizza as well as a
Tri-Tip BBQ. Our marketing efforts will be as follows: announcements on Local Radio, newspapers, and school bulletins. We are trying to bring in as many shoppers to our show to make this event a success for our vendors. Please help us spread the word. Enclosed are flyers for you to pass out to your customers, friends and family. We encourage you to copy these and pass out as many as possible.

Attached you will find an application for the 2009 Holiday Craft Show. We welcome all Hand Crafted and Manufactured products. It is highly encouraged that a holiday theme be incorporated in your display as well as holiday gift buying be the focus of those products or crafts you bring to sell. Products in all price ranges are recommended. We are asking that each vendor donate an item from his or her table to be raffled off during the boutique. Items will be collected at the time of set-up, so please have your item ready. We are offering space to vendors for $60.00 per 8ft table space, $70.00 with electricity. Please submit a check made payable to NSHS Viking Booster Club along with your application. (Checks will be returned for any application not accepted.) Notification and table assignments will be made as soon as all applications have been reviewed. Applications can be found on the North Salinas High Web site

Set-up will be Saturday Nov. 7th 8:00-10:00 am.
Vendors must be ready, show starts promptly at 10:00am!

The show is located in Salina, CA which is approximately 100 miles south of San Francisco, 60 miles south of San Jose, on Highway 101.

I assume that all of your vendors will come from perhaps a 30-mile radius but I myself could end up doing your event because it's a weekend that really doesn't have any good shows. Two years ago we did the Orinda Holiday Bazzar (SF Bay Area) on that weekend and it was horrendous. Did the DeAnza College Flea Market last year on that day. Best Flea Market in the Bay Area but my products do not sell good at FM's.

Anyways, if you are near the Bay Area, please read this to see why you shouldn't do the Orinda Holiday Bazaar. Please do not be offended by the material.

Posting has been modified theres now a link to the North Salinas High web site where you can find a link that has the vendor application.
At this time we are acccepting applications for handcrafted and manufacturated products so the focus will be on holiday gift buying.
