Here's an email I received from Johny 5 Productions (Roseville) about a FREE EVENT in Lincoln. Have no idea why they aren't charging anything, but we can let our imaginations run wild. Isn't Lincoln that new 'community' that they built over the past 10-15 years with mostly retirees living there with golf courses in their back yards? Dear Vendors, Lincoln Arts has an event coming up on September 19th from 11am to 11pm at the McBean Stadium in Downtown Lincoln. Lincoln has been doing a lot with events lately and I thought this event was worth passing on to you guys. Especially because Its free. You don't see an event with free vendor space often. Especially that looks as good as this one. They have an awesome lineup of bands performing all day long. Though I am not the coordinator or promotor of this event, I will be there with a booth of my own all day. Look forward to seeing you. Maybe the free space because they are charging so much to get it AND they do not know that the season now is SUMMER........ not Spring! Who knows....... I do know that 11 p.m. is too late for me to be at a show, especially since you would need to tear down and leave when the show is over.
Thanks for sharing, Susie

Rock Concert = no sales. Looks like the booths are just window dressing to make it look like a decent event. Uh uh. I'll be taking a KNAPP that weekend in Cambria. I had a lady come by in June and bought over $300 in jewelry from us. Hope to see her again. Usually stay at Motel 6 in Atascadero, but a friend of mine found bedbugs there. Maybe I'll try the card for that one.

I would say BOOOOOO! Lincoln is pretty big community now but I doubt it will be good. I did the Thursday night market in Roseville and Johnny 5 was the company putting it on. I heard from others it was good. I added it every Thursday in July. I was lucky to even get my money back. It was the worst fair that I ever did. Not only did I make no money I had some lady contact me from there and ask me o make her something and then flaked and never paid for it. Not sure if the first two months there were the best and sucked or the whole thing sucked. Also heard the Strawberry Festival they put on was a bomb as well.

The Strawberry was terrible. At fairgrounds and you had a bunch of us in cramped up 10x10's. Too hot for that. Had motel reservations for that Saturday evening, but cancelled around noontime. Sales were slow and didn't want to pay for the motel, which was located next to the highway. Closed early and decided to drive 120 miles back home. Definitely no money there. I saw many people with all sides open around their booths and I got so pissed off when I kept looking at mine.
