Hi Pete. What's cooking for this weekend? Is your next show on Sept 12 at the Cranberry Festival in Bandon? I've got several shows coming up, but only expect to do pretty good in one of them, Castro Valley on that weekend. Been doing that one for around 10-12 years. Since I have the hats, I am doing a double space there. Got to take a chance. Don't know about the other two shows I am doing.
Anyhow, I know a couple that lives in Bandon and they were in Myrtle Point a few spaces down from me selling tie-dyes, which they make themselves. They do the local shows up there and their names are Jon and Lyn. Tell them I said hi and sell them on the idea of participating in the forum.
Good Luck.

I'm relaxing this weekend. Didn't push looking for anything because I messed up my knee. I imagine that it's just a combination of age and a lot of movement I'm not accustomed to, with setting up and tearing down the booth.
Probably a small tear and I should stay off of it. But, I'm not one that thinks much of doctors or heeds sound medical advice...
I'm still looking a bit for Labor Day, but I haven't found anything worth pursuing ---- and that garage sale has to take place before the weather turns...
So, yes, next show currently will be Cranberry Festival with --- you guessed it --- wind and more wind.
I talked to a couple of vendors that won't go near the Cranberry Festival because of the wind. And they were both at Charleston Seafood and Blackberry Arts, which have some pretty hefty winds in their own right. I still can't get over the wind moving my booth 5 inches with at least 390lbs holding down the wind side.
I will look for Jon and Lyn and pass on a hearty hello, along with a plug for the forum.

Not finding anything for Labor Day weekend (and 8/29 - 8/30 weekend) turned out to be a positive. Lots of rain throughout Oregon for both weekends.
Particularly nasty for Saturday 8/5. Nasty stuff didn't occur until late afternoon on Sunday, but I'm sure any show would have been a bust with the weather.
Of course, the garage sale didn't happen either...
Looking great for the weekend of 9/12 -- mid 70's (which is HOT here!) and moderate winds. We'll see...
Knee is much improved - just in time to damage it again...
Website is making sales ---- YAY!!!
