Has anybody dared do one of their shows. They are having one in Sacramento at Cal Expo the last weekend of November and it's $300. www.hmongfestival.com/EventManager/emHere's the application. Read the part about 'high risk' food. First time I have ever seen that. You have to pay extra if you cook certain foods. Imagine if other shows did that to the food vendors. www.sacramentohmongnewyear.com/2010_VendorApplication.pdfAnyhow, I have spoken to a few people and have mixed reports about these shows. Might be willing to try one (and maybe only one), but four days can be awfully long, ya know?

Thanks Paula. Just thinking about it and I doubt I'll try it. Need shows, but probaby not that desparate. Might just do a one-day thing here in San Jose and would probably make a better net profit. I would commute 100-miles each way and that's $30 a day. Much cheaper than a motel, but a lot of time on the road. I don't see how I could make much more than $200-$300 per day with these people. Interested in trying it, but if it were more local, than I probably would give it a shot. Got to deal with the weather issue that time of the year and it could be raining like holy hell.
