Hey hey... I just posted in the show off your stuff thread... but here I am again. I'm happy to have found this forum, if I haven't' said that enough already. I'm Bekki and I make hand dyed and printed clothing for women and girls. I've been in business for almost 10 yrs... whoa. lol. But only the past 3-4 have I started traveling to craft shows away from home. and I LOVE it. I live in Eureka, CA... so everything is far away for me. Right now I mostly keep my shows within a 4 hr radius if possible. I'm looking to spread out this year for some extended trips to NV (to see my new baby niece), further into OR, WA and who knows where. Also, I have family in the Sac area, but have yet to find any good handmade shows around there (hint hint). I'm also gearing up for a real wholesale effort this season, so I don't have to get another day job. Ever. Other than dyeing my fingers blue & traveling to shows... I like to take my dog to the beach, hang out w/ with my fiance (I promised I wouldn't' call him that lol), drink good microbrew, watch our millions of dvds, blog, teach craft classes. Oh and make more stuff. I just turned 40 a couple weeks ago and I'm planning my wedding for fall. It's going to be a great year, folks. Welcome to the board. I am a hand crafter also. I live in Central California so my shows would be out of your 4 hours... Again, welcome and keep on posting.

Thanks Susie. It's fun to read all the info around here, nice folks too.
Maybe you know of some good handmade fairs in or around the Sac area?? I have tried a couple street fairs that were not so bueno for me... but I rarely see any art fairs for that area.
(Except the asparagus fest which is a bit out of my price range. Jeesh.)
