Well, I've been officially accepted to the big show in Bismarck. I'm a little nervous as to how I'll be received... and how I'll fair at an outside show in ND in August. But it's exciting! I went to HS in the area, and my mother plus lots of family still live there... my mom is ecstatic. lol.
I just need to confirm a couple more shows to be able to afford the ride over to ND... the Mermaid Tour could still very well happen!

WAY TO GO! From what I can see, it is a week after the MINOT Fair ends, which is good. I've noticed that if there is ANYTHING happening in this state, EVERYTHING else is a ghost town. I don't know that the state could handle 2 Big events at one time! Generally speaking, this is more towards the direction that the oil workers are at... (meaning $$$ to spend!). It has been a wet winter and Spring. The mosquitos are already out on force. (Groan!) Maybe I'll see you here! We'll see if Iget in at IOWA. If so, I'd have to get out of Minot and head there to get set up.

Very curious... How did you do at this event? I haven't come across anyone else that did this show to see how it was.

Oh I did quite well... it's a very nice event. Good quality crafts for the most part, nicely organized, pretty venue. I was worried my goods would be too west coasty for that area, but people really liked them. The ones who weren't moaning about my craaazy prices lol. Hey they have 2 walmarts in town, I expected some of that.
The first day was insanely busy. Tons of people as soon as it started. Tons. Sunday not as busy, I think the heat had a lot to do with it. Overall I was happy with my sales...I would do it again, if it wasn't so far away!
