Even though it was cancelled awhile back, I just found out today that the San Leandro Cherry Festival was cancelled due to budget reductions.
I participated in this event for 4-5 year's when it was held at the Marina park down by the waterfront. They cancelled it and then started a couple year's later with a one-day show in downtown San Leandro. I guess they had it there for 5-6 year's. It was a good show but when the wind picked up, it was cold.
