Been doing this event for the past 10-12 years and at one time, was one of my top three events of the year. However, sales have been declining and Jerry Springer seems to be dropping off busloads of tatoo bearing, husband beating and spikey haired creatures here.
Crowds were down last year and it actually rained on Saturday morning. Anything goes. I just hope that the highlight of my weekend isn't picking up a Burrito Bowl over at Chipotle's a block away. Have had tough times at this show with some kind of martial arts people next door and they have been really bad. Last year I had two spaces and that ran them away because I took their space and they ended up on the other side of the show.

Been doing this event for years. Maybe 10-11? Weather was pretty nice. Sunny and temps in the low 70s. Last year it rained when we were setting up on Sat and again Sun when closing. I didn't do too bad but sales have dramatically gone down over the years. This used to be a kick-ass show, but like every other event, the economy has taken its toll. Many fewer booths and less people attending. Here's my blow-by-blow review of the event: www.starvingvendors.com/events_Castro_Valley_Fall_Festival_2010.html
