This event is always held on the 2nd. Saturday in August...cost for 2010 was $170 for a 12 x 12 space....My items did quite well here, and we might be going back again this year....they also have a Fine Arts and Crafts Event held in September, which was also a good one for us.

I'm glad you had a good experience at the Fine Arts & Crafts fair there, we had one good year, then two really bad ones. Laura

Thank You , we did great at both the Peddlers fair, and the fine arts and crafts events, it was really strange and a learning process for us, the peddlers fair was about 50/50 man and woman....while the fine arts was about 75% woman....what do you sell Laptoo? ?

I make and sell jewelry and didn't bother to sign up for the one in 2010. I'm taking this current year off from doing art/craft fairs, since the last two years were so bad. Maybe by the time I do them again, people will be buying enough to make it worth my while. I' m glad you did well. Laura

Laura I know it's been awfully hard to sell jewelry at the shows and there are so many vendors with it to make it worse. I know it can be pretty darn frustrating. I wish that I could take the year off, but my finances will not permit me to. I am trying to pursue other avenues of income and playing the lotto. It's amazing that I do see a number of vendors doing well; however, it is a very small number. I should pattern myself after them but I can't afford to switch to a large assortment of those products.

Yes, this economy is rough, but you really have to stop and think do you want to ride or beat a dead horse, it surely won't take you far....and in every aspect of business either a small or large one, you need to make adjustments...the business that can't adjust, is the biz that is not around any longer.
