Well, the Dublin St. Patrick's Day Fest is this coming weekend. According to 10-day weather forecast it should be ok, kinda cold and overcast, however. But thats every year out there. This show has been good to me every year, so hope its the same this year. Got "in" through the Dublin Chamber of Commerce instead of Williams LTD. Saved me $100 on a 10x10. We'll see what happens.

Hi Nito. I'm glad to hear that you did okay down south. I recall that you told me about that promoter's shows. These $4+ gas prices are a killer and I'm trying to stay local. There are a number of shows this weekend (Esparto and Jackson) that I could have done, but we decided to wait until April. Starting with Manteca and I don't expect to make a lot. Clovis is too expensive and I'd have a hard time catching my expenses with what I am selling.
I wish you luck this weekend and fortunately, you have the weather in your favor. BTW, the San Mateo Fair called me and they are looking for vendors. I have heard a lot of bad news about it.

Hi Dave! Good to hear from you! I did Jackson last year and it was a decent show for me, but I had to negotiate with them to move my booth as they had me squished into a small corner, but they were great about letting me move and helped me out a lot. It was sunny out there, but cold, too. Manteca & Clovis could be good this year, as long as the rain stays away. I'm not surprised about San Mateo Fair. They sent me an application a year ago and I talked with the lady on the phone and they wanted $900 for the 2 or 3 weeks they are open! Which is outrageous. After Dublin I'll try going back down to LA in 2 weeks, then in April I'll probably do the San Juan Bautista Craft Fair again then its on to Vegas for 1-2 weeks after that for late April-early May. I'll be drawing at a casino for 3 days during the week, then a small street fest in Boulder City that weekend. I'm trying to get into the San Genaro Italian Fest in Vegas for the week after that, but I'd have to go in sharing a space, as its very expensive. A friend of mine is checking into it for me, since he's been there for the last 4 years and he always ends up with about 6 or 7 ft. of extra space in his area, as he always buys 2 or 3 spaces next to each other. I'll keep you posted on how it goes.
