Hello everyone,
Wow, what a great forum. Thanks to all who contribute, we've found a ton of valuable information here:) We are new to vending outside of conventional retail locations and have no clue how to find all of the events going on in NCAL in time to register for them. We are getting a lot of word-of-mouth advice, but too late to actually get registered for many events.
Can anyone help out with a few pointers for finding events? We really want to be attending as many fall/christmas festivals as possible, but not having much luck so far.
Thanks in advance for any and all help!
Jason

Hi Jason. Welcome to the board. There are two websites that a majority of people subscribe to.
The one that I consider the best is Craftmasternews.com. This one lists thousands upon thousands of events throughout the year. This is my favorite and has provided me with a lot of shows over the 13+ years I have subscribed to it.
Another is festivalnet.com. I have never subscribed to this one, but a lot of people have told me that it is pretty decent.
Those are the top two for shows in the western states (especially CA). It's up to you. As I said before, I prefer CMN. Best of luck. Where are you from?

Hi Dave. Thanks for the advice, I'll subscribe tomorrow! I'm from Alameda, but currently out in the Sacramento area. Check out our webstore www.wigogoods.com. We are attempting to build the brand via retail partners and promo events/fairs & festivals. We're currently in about 100 NCAL stores, but need to expand our regular promo events.

Totally impressive. I lived in Alameda (Park Ave & Regent St) from 1974 until 1981. Very nice there and I drive aroiund there quite often. Usually pick up sandwiches over at Dimitra's and drive down to the base and park along the waterfront. Great view and so relaxing to watch the water. So many memories of the base from back in 71-74. If you would like more info on shows, please visit my website, [urlhttp://www.starvingvendors.com/index.html][/url] where there is tons of information and loads of reviews that you will find reading enjoyable.
