Anybody doing anything that's decent and would like to share that precious information. Beginning to contemplate how we are going to survive another holiday season and like everybody else, need to have shows to make some $$$. I am not talking about obscene, humongous amounts of money here..... but something halfway decent. I am not interested in going to the Indio Tamale Festival in early Dec because it is expensive. Susie, you might be interested in that one, but IT AIN'T CHEAP.

Thanks, I will look into it. I went to Craftmaster and found it, hit the link and the link for the festival is not good. It says the Domaine Has Expired...... maybe that is why they have to charge so much for the show. I did see that it is expensive but is it a good show? I have found that you do have to pay more for some of the better shows. Anyone done it before?

We did it several years ago and we didn't do that good. I don't know how you would do there. It is a good show or some people. It is expensive, for sure, but you have your trailer and it might work out. I stayed a couple nights at a motel and that added to my expenses. It's a lot shorter distane for you. I think that it might be $250 for A&C, but for commercial (like me) it costs more. I think that you can set up AFTER 7:00pm on Friday. You might want to email them for info. Like you said, their website is out of whack. I hope PG&E didn't come in and cut off their electricity.

I looked through Craftmaster and saw that they have this Santa Rosa show in December spread over 3 weeks. Please notice that they are quoting 500 vendors there. We did it twice over the years and I will not set foot in that place again. Positively awful. The show can support approx 100-150 vendors at most and they cram them into two or three buildings. Now, with this economy, you can totally forget it. Do not throw your money away on this one. I think that we did the middle week before and people do not go the first week. The better week is supposedly the third week, but look at how many booths they have there. UH UH UH.
I noticed that they did not have this show for a few years and just re-junvenated it this year. Stay as far away from Santa Rosa that you can. I am looking for shows during that time, but I'm not touching this one. Website is funky too!!!

I am doing Bates Nt Farm in October and if it is as good as I hope it is (10 in Craftmaster) I will do it again on Thanksgiving week end. I talked to a fellow vendor last December and she said she loves Bates and does it each Thanksgiving. I hope I am making a good choice but with this economy who knows? I did Bass Lake last Thanksgiving and did ok but after Lone Pine I am done with the no/slow advertising shows.

They have re-done the Holiday Craft Fair in Antioch. Now is called the Fall Fair and will be one weekend only, Nov 14-15. Have not seen this in Craftmaster and apparenty a number of last year's vendors have received them in the mail. I just had mine emailed to me. Spaces are $160. Not bad. Was two weekends last year and the first weekend was a bit slow and the second weekend the place turned into a ghost town. If you need an application, I can email you one.

Where is everyone going to be the 7th and 8th of November? I have not booked anything yet so I really need to get busy and do that. I am still crossing my fingers that Bates has a opening for us on Thanksgiving weekend..... it is a great place! If that works all I need is the first weekend and I am booked through November...... next I will figure out December. I do have a show booked in February, March, April and May for next year..... Now to finish this years bookings. I just love these shows!!! <---sometimes

I have done the Top of the Line Show in Visalia for 2 years in a row. It is one of my best. As with all shows, it has slowed from years past, but I continue to do well. In 2009, it got a new event promoter. They did well. They offer free RV parking 1 block away from the Convention Center. I will return for 2010.
