Anyone had this happen. Currently am ready to beat the a$$ of a lady that is playing big time games with me. I did a street fair June, July (took August off to do another fair) and came back in August. A few weeks ago I was contacted by a lady asking for a return on a damaged item. When I asked her about it I determined that I had no made the item. She argued with me saying that It was my business. So I said "ok bring it to me and we will work something out". Yesterday I returned to the same street fair and was confronted by a lady that informed me that she had been looking for me the other week and came to my spot. The lady in my spot told her she was me and that she would custom make her a tutu. Digging into it a bit further I found out that this women knew I would be gone Aug and asked for my space. Not only did she try to sell a similar product, she told people she was my business. I am super pissed. Thinking back I recall a person coming over to me (a weird lady) and asking me all these random questions about things. I have a feeling it was her. She will be sorry when I catch up with her.

I have never had this happen to me and if it did, I would be upset also. Not sure what you can do about it but I am sure the ones in charge of the street fair know who that vendor is. Maybe you can talk to them and see what, if anything, can be done.

At a craft show I was at we had four people selling tutus..... they all claimed that they were the first to make the item...... come to find out, there is a pattern somewhere out there that all of them had bought and was making the item. Is this a item that you made or a pattern that you and maybe the other person also bought? Or is it a item that you made up yourself? I would contact the promoter but so many of them really just do not care........ good luck with your problem. Is the other crafter still doing the show? Good luck.
