Myrtle Point Harvest Festival
I have a couple of 2-day options for this weekend, but decided to do the Saturday only, Harvest Festival.
One is in Medford which would involve traveling and lodging.
The other is about the same distance (15-20 miles) in Reedsport, which is on the coast. Myrtle Point is inland and the price is right - $35 including electricity.

Weather forecasts - gotta luvem...
There is going to be a high temp of 68 --- or 75 --- or 82
The winds are going to be 11 --- or 17 --- or sustained 31 with gusts up to 58
3 weather sites - 3 different forecasts -- same day (Saturday) -- not unusual, but that 31 sustained winds might make it interesting if it occurs...

Yes, Dave, good ol' Myrtle Point.
AccuWeather - the 31 mph wind forecast - has backed off of their forecast to high winds on Saturday night, instead of Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
Looks like it is going to be in the 70's or 80's, sunny and moderate coastal type winds.
I can live with that...
Not sure on Ocean Fest for next year (haven't looked that far into the future yet...). I did July Jubilee in North Bend this year on that weekend, simply because I was just getting started and it had no fee.
Unless there is some compelling reason to do the Jubilee again, I will probably head up the coast to "Windpester Bay".

Great weather for the Harvest Festival. Sunny, 80's, not much wind until later in the afternoon.
I made 8x the booth/electrical fees -- and landed right on my average daily take, so, it was a good day.
It seemed slower than my recent events and a larger percentage of people that visited my booth left with the "no money" declaration.
That probably was a result of the "end of the month" syndrome in a low population base, depressed area.
I did stay open during the car cruise. I didn't find out the cruise was passing right in front of my booth until 30 minutes before it started.
Once I heard that, I had lower expectations for the two hours, but figured that I could stand in front of the booth and hand out business cards to the cruisers...
I was the only booth left on the block, but I did stay busy and added $70 to the till. $35 an hour --- Yeah, I'll take that all day long!
As usual, I didn't have an opportunity to venture out and check the rest of the event. It covered a total of 7 blocks for the cars and a few vendors, with the side blocks for vendors and mini events (rooster crow, tractor show, zuchinni contest, goat milking contest, chainsaw carving, etc.).
A couple of vendors expressed their thoughts that the cars should have been on the side streets and vendors down the main drag. I don't know that it actually would have made a difference...
Promoter was the Myrtle Point Chamber of Commerce. Mike Lyons organized everything and had a lot of ground to cover but managed to stop by the booth a couple of times. The coordinators for our area were seen throughout the day.
Because of the layout, parking was not an issue. We were about 1/2 a block from our booth.
Setup and take down was also easily accomplished, although setup on Friday night started at 7pm, which meant that I needed the van facing the booth with the headlights on to finish up.
The booths on each side of us left around 3:30pm-4pm.
One was a "get your picture taken" booth and I think they ran out of printing materials.
The other was a pottery vendor and I don't think his sales were very good.
The booths across from us seemed to be doing pretty good, but I didn't have a chance to talk to them before the quick departure for the car cruise.
They were a tie-dyed (not your friends, Dave), handmade jewelry and buy/sell, handmade combo.
