Anyone know anything about this couple? Was reading some reviews in Craftmaster and people were not saying nice things about them. Was wondering if any of you have dealt with them.

They are promoters doing shows in Southern California. I had never heard of them until today... Was hopeing someone had done some of their shows so I would have an "honest" opinion.

Ok, going to say I am havng a "blond" moment. After reading Daves question and going back and reading the review again... I now see that they are the promoters for a show in Thousand Oaks.. I take it that they put on this one show, which is very very bad. So thanks Dave.... sorry for your trouble.

And does the Craftmaster review of the event look something like this: About the event: Organization was terrible, ! 1.Attendence was listed as 10,000 if we had 2000 that was alot. 2. The cost for the booth was very high for the 1st time event. 3. We never meet the organizors, They could of come around and introduced themself. 4. About half of the vendors left on Saturday and did not come back. 5. We should be reinbursed at least 1/2 of our money, very few made space rent 6. Security was injoying himself at the night function with his girlfriend at the park and not patroling the booths. 7. I did not make enough money to pay for my 2 booths… About the promoter: 1. Never saw promotors. 2. There was a lady with dark hair running around rasing her voice to the vendors unloading she even got into it with some of the vendors. If anything we are the ones who made them money she should of been nice. 3. No Security until after 9:30pm. 4. Overall very terrible promters. And o'course....... their name is Strong and Asssociates and they are located in Newbury Park, CA and the website for that show is: www.tropicaldaze.org/Seemingly, a nice event in 2010. So, I guess a lot of us would wonder how true that one review is. Even though you take most reviews of events with a grain of salt, there still is credence to what he is saying about them. Regardless, the attendance is not high enough to justify a trip down there for me and that is one of the many criteria I set for my selections. No further investigation needed, except to be careful if they venture up here. Stay in SOCAL, we've got enough crappy events up here. ADDED: I went back and re-read the review and I thought that I was reading about most of the shows I have done. Disgruntled vendor. Disregard review; proceed with caution though until you hear what another vendor has to say.
