Have you shown at the 4th ave spring show? I am wondering how it compares with the winter one. Thx Hi Hatter. Welcome to the board. I have done the Spring Show there a couple times. I am considered commercial so I have sold my merchandise at a couple lots - The Parking Lot and another one down at 238 N. Fourth Avenue. Would you be located out on the Avenue with the 'Arts and Crafts'? I am not too sure if there are other member's on this board who have done the Spring one. Lot's of people but not sure if a lot of them are buying. As you well know, a lot of factors have to be considered when deciding upon a show. I live 850 miles away, so I have gas and motel expenses. Food and booth fees also. I've done the shows out there maybe 4-5 times and my sales were dwindling and decided not to do the event anymore. There are quite a number of 'lots' along Fourth Avenue that you can sell in and they all are a bit on the expensive time. We have a member on the board who did December in a lot maybe half-a-block from The Parking Lot and she can provide you with more information. If you are going to do the Spring Event, better decide fast because the spaces will probably be sold out by the end of the month, no matter which location you choose. Where are you from and what do you do? |

I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. So it is quite a drive for me to get down to Arizona. I have been accepted to the 4th Ave spring fair. I had the weekend free between other shows in CA and AZ and thought I would give it a try... but I am beginning to wonder if it will all be worth my while. I guess I am just fishing for more information so I know what I am getting myself into. I am a hatter.

Thanks again for the info. I will share my experiences when I return. I really enjoy the southwest and look forward to being down there for a while. I am originally from Las Vegas and and living up here in the foothills of the rain forest I feel the need "dry out" on occasions.
