I sent off all sorts of applications, along with set up photos at show venues about 2 weeks ago... Only ~one~ wanted a processing fee, and that was Texas. I got a letter back from MN. It states in part, "This is to confirm that we received your application".... blah blah blah. and ends with........ "You are now in our data base. No need to reapply in the future. If you need to change items or descriptions of items sold, send a letter and we will change it in the data base." Ok, so that means they have NO openings and I am on a waiting list, or they haven't decided yet, or they just aren't ready to send out invitations to vendors? I sort of need to know a bit sooner than a last minute thing, because if they don't have any openings, I will find another venue. They are the ony ones that have sent anything. Any suggestions what it means?

Nah! I wouldn't do that!!! That's too funny! I've been asking myself the same thing!!!! It was a long and welll worded letter that basically said NOTHING! Not even a "we'll call you when there is an opening", or, "we'll consider your app", or. "we'll be sending out packets in (blank)" or "We'll have an answer for you by (blank). I can get into a 4 day show instead of a theirs, but would rather stay put for the 11 days.

If you sent the fees in with the application and they were not returned, I would say that you have been accepted and that the letter is telling you that you are now a vendor there and they are putting you in the computer as a vendor for the items you listed on the application that you sell. If you did not send the fees then I have no idea what it means......... I would just call and ask......

I would say if you are in their data base, and they talked about changing your items in the future... you are in. Weird that they don't just come out and say it though.
