I was just told that I would have to haul my stuff in approximately 60-75 yards to my spot at the Foster City 4th of July event. That is a pisser. I am so mad over this. They DID NOT state this on their application. I understand that this has happened to a number of other vendor's AFTER they have sent in their applications. WHY WHY WHY are we not being told this to begin with. I have my canopy, 16 grids, 7 tubs, one large sack and 16 other smaller ones along with 10 metal shelves, two chairs, cooler and other things. I cancelled a show last year after being told that but I do not want to cancel this one. I don't expect it to be a great show but I had to cancel my trip to Mt. Shasta due to family medical problems and the 4th of July there was my best day for the past two years.
In Foster City, they used to have the booths close to the curb (when I did it 7 years ago) and I had two spaces just 10 feet away from where I unloaded my van. Now, they moved it to a grassy area and we have to (?) haul our stuff in.
