I read the reviews for this festival and just was wondering a few things. I know the show isn't recommended because it was too slow but I am local living only about 20 minutes away and offer Temporary Airbrush TATS and Glitter Tattoos.
Those have done this before, do you think this kind of vendor would work better versus a craft or merchandise vendor?
Also, was there a lot of kids present?
Thanks in advance

Welcome to the board! And nice to finally see someone else on this board who does something very similar to what I do at the festivals! I did a show near you last year...the Arroyo Grande Strawberry Festival. It was pretty good, but the booth fees were way too high this year, so I skipped it. Hope you do well at all your upcoming events!

Thanks for the welcome! Yes, I do offer something entirely different from craft/merchandise vendors. What I have noticed is that at many events and festivals, when other merchandise vendors are down in sales, we are the ones that always end up making the $$$. No offense but as long there is kids are teenagers present, we can pretty much rest assured that we will come out ahead. On the other hand, we also have to make sure that we book the right events. A craft fair with a majority of older visitors would not be a wise choice. Yes I have attended the Arroyo Grande Strawberry Festival as a visitor every year and it is a highlight every year for our beach community. I'm going to try to get in next year as a vendor. Yes the price is very high but this is a quality event with a large local and tourist following. Maybe we'll meet someday at an event.
