Good luck, Traveler! I'm doing a one day show in San Francisco, on Cole. St. This will be my 4th year, and the last one if it's as bad as it was last year. I have renamed it the Dog Pee Fair, as two separate pooches peed on my table covers. This year I'm going to try some spray on anti-pooch pee stuff from a pet store, maybe that will discourage them from using my booth as a fire hydrant. Laura

I will be doing the Pacifica Fog Festival................I have done this show for many years....... I wish I was doing this show. One of my best events ever but a scrooge on their committee won't let me in. However, their are other people selling commercial products. Good luck Mark, Rick and everybody else. Beautiful weather. Supposed to be in the 70's there and it's going to be sunny.

Laura When you are there, be sure to look at 636 Cole St., which was Charles Manson's house awhile back. Good luck at the show. What's the name of this event? Fees? #of vendors? I am heading down to Atwater. I did that one the weekend following 9-11. I sold a bunch of patriotic t-shirts which saved me. Few people in a buying mood. I just recalled that they were giving out BBQ chicken to the vendors at the end of the show. There was a long line so we didn't stick around. One of only two shows that I have seen the promoter's feeding BBQ to the vendors. Steve Maitland is the other and he gave us steak one time up in Lake Tahoe. BTW he has a show at the Atlantis Casino during Hot August Nights. Never did it though. I am not ready to fork ovre $600 for any event. My items are not priced high enough to justify it.

HI Dave - Rats, I didn't get your reply until after the fair today. It was the Cole Valley Improvement Assoc. (CVIA) annual fair. My pooch repellant kept the dogs away, but I didn't even make my table fee until right before closing, then I ended up $50. in the black. Rats. It's a juried show with my buy/sell allowed, and is just one day, for $175. This was my LAST time with it. My first year was ok, the second year I doubled that first yr. amount, last year wasn't good, and today was dismal. Laura

Pacifica Fog Fest.... I have done this event for many years this was the worst i have ever done here but my sales weren't to bad......most of my sales were small $ not one decent size sale......the crowd was down maybe 20 percent over other years!...the promoters did a great Job as usual....SOME vendors did very well here even with a poor economy....i noticed quite a few empty spaces this year!
