Just finished our first year at the Sioux Empire Fair in Sioux Falls, SD. We purchased an existing food trailer so we had an advantage that people were used to our products already. It did throw some of them for a loop as we cleaned up and painted the trailer and that the "old guy" out front was gone. I think it was an ok fair for food vendors. The fair is not the greatest at keeping out competition in food court area. Over all, though the staff is nice and we will be signing our "early bird" contract in the next few months.

HI! I am on my way to do 2 events in SD next. 1st one is Madison SD tractor show, and then SD State fair. What I am finding out about the SD people, is there is NOTHING to do, and when something comes to town, everyone goes. My highest daily average for any show I did last year was in SD! Do you live in that area? I can give you a couple leads in the area if you are. Thanks for the heads up about this show. When you are new, you never know what is good and what is a BOMB!
