I have a few of these also:
Lancaster Poppy Festival <--- over priced, not many restrooms, way too many vendors. This show charges for insurance even if you already have a policy.
Manteca <-- not many buying, people in the walkways yelling about their product blocking your booth, set up was horrible, many customers were able to not go by many booths, many open spaces (where they could have moved vendors down to), not enough restrooms.
Lemoore Pizza Festival <-- There is not one good thing to say about this show. As a matter of fact I have given it the award for the rudest people at a show!!!!
Anyone else care to add to these?

Any show the Lancaster area is bad. I did the Quartz Hill Almond Blossom Festival ( www.starvingvendors.com/events_Quartz_Hill_2008.html ) in March last year and we had a terrible time trying to set up and we left. We've done Manteca Crossroads Street Faire ( www.starvingvendors.com/Events_Manteca_Street_Faire.html) in April several times (this year too) and it is bad. Not much to choose from that year. You are so right about it. These idiots stand out in the middle of the aisle passing out their crap. I complained about it, but the chamber didn't do anything about it. Had somebody from a kid's football league step directly in front of my booth and passed out flyers. I asked him to stay on his side and he went off on me. Can you imagine that? He's coaching kids or something and he treats me like that. Can you imagine how he treats the kids. Shameful. The Lemoore Pizza Festival. What a joke. I don't have anything good to say about this show. Terrible show. The kids race up and down on their skateboards and are out of control. Never again. www.starvingvendors.com/events_Central_Valley_PizzaFestval_2008.html You can read some of the comments other vendors had to say about this show on my blog.... thisaintparadise.blogspot.com/2009/04/street-fairs-events-festivals.htmlAs time goes on, I'll mention more shows. Let's hear from some people about their real doozies.

Parker Az Fair. Since the indian land was taken back to make a casino on the grounds, they built a new fair 12 miles out of town. 1 building, dirt road, EXTREMELY SMALL! (6 very poorly treated inside vendors.) They held a pot luck in the building where we were after Ms. Arizona was crowned and they shoved us out before the pagent ended. WE ALL had endured 2 solid hours of not a single customer while the pagent went on, waiting for the possibility that they'd come in after. All the outside vendors did HOT sales after it let up. We sat P.O'd, locked out of the building while they all sat inside and patted themselves on the back. Supposedly they kept everyone away from our spaces, but it sure could have easily been stolen. SOme of the vendors were so angered, they packed up at 8:00am the last show day and left. When they were threatened that if they left early they'd never be let back in, one angry vendor shouted, "you couldn't pay me enough money to COME back to your poor @ss fair!" He echoed the feelings of every vendor in there! Maybe I should state that I brought in 1,100.00, which was more than I made during the whole last show in QZ. AZ. but the flagrent rude disregard, and treatment of us. I'd have to be pretty desperate to ever go back. I think I'd go to AVI before then!

If you are looking for a "free" place to camp, when you sell, from 5PM Friday to 5PM Sunday evening, then the Yucca Valley Ca. Swap Meet is alright, but it houses the most cheapest crowd of (white) people I've ever seen. By 11 AM on Sunday the show is OVER! Saturday is the day to make any sales. I think we went and sold about 200 dollars in the 2 days, but we did have a dry camp spot.
